13719 - Business Process Consultant (onsite, hybrid option) – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date : ASAP
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting : Telework may be approved at the discretion of the Contract Manager. The Department prefers a local candidate; however, a hybrid schedule may be approved based on assignments.
Required :
Availability to work of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
IT business / industry work experience (10 years);
Experience in performing business analyses on IT projects (7 years);
Experience in the use of Microsoft Visio for creating the process model diagrams;
Experience with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies;
Experience translating business requirements into use cases / user stories and acceptance Criteria;
Experience creating test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Preferred :
Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques;
Experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups of people to discuss business processes;
Experience conducting Cost Benefit Analyses;
Experience in business process re-engineering;
Experience in deriving business process and data requirements from the reading and analyzing of process and systems documentation;
Experience to create a data dictionary;
Experiences in working with IT technical staff to determine the infrastructure components within which any potential solution or modification would need to be able to operate;
Experience with Dynamics 365
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Develop and deliver business process documentation, including AS-IS and TO-BE process maps, gap analyses, and IT solution requirements.
Create technical artifacts such as entity relationship diagrams (ERD), data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams.
Prepare business process re-engineering plans, remediation implementation plans, and cost-benefit analyses.
Ensure compliance with OATS administrative policies and procedures, working closely with the Contract Manager.
Develop ISDM or SDF documentation to align projects with OATS policies and provide necessary updates.
Facilitate and document project meetings, ensuring clear communication of key action items and decisions.
Communicate relevant project updates to stakeholders and teams in a timely and structured manner.
