Child Psychologist for Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Services

Vitruvian Health Care System and Hamilton Physician Group are seeking a skilled Child Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Anna Shaw Children's Institute (ASCI). As an essential member of the care team, the psychologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to conduct comprehensive evaluations of children's developmental and psychological status.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical diagnostic and testing skills, with the ability to interpret information in terms of age-appropriate patient needs. A doctoral degree in psychology, licensure in Georgia, and experience working with pediatric populations are required. The successful candidate will also be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to quality, patient safety, and excellence in evidence-based clinical care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive evaluations of children's developmental and psychological status
• Administer, score, evaluate, and report intellectual, cognitive, behavioral, personality, and neuropsychological test data
• Develop educational programming recommendations based on assessment findings
• Provide individual and family psychotherapy and/or counseling to promote safety, understanding, and good mental health
• Participate as an active treatment team member, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles and patient needs
