We are looking to hire a Dispatch Operations Coordinator. This person will be responsible for the coordination of the daily operational activity of Vivalon’s Contract Transportation Services. Key focus areas are dispatch communication with drivers; communication with agencies / program staff / client guardians; queue log maintenance; and preparation of reports.
Requirements :
The following skills and experience are qualifications for this job :
- Scheduling, dispatch, or equivalent environment; transportation experience is desired.
- Working knowledge of scheduling and dispatch software (or equivalent) and dispatch procedures
- Able to provide leadership and direction for co-workers as needed.
- Able to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Able to skillfully assess client needs, co-worker availability, and traffic and routing issues in providing direction and instruction to drivers.
- Able to apply sound judgment in a fast-paced and quickly-changing environment, while managing multiple tasks, coordinating between multiple individuals, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
Compensation and Benefits
