Staff Accountant (Temp)

Job Title: Staff Accountant ( Estimated 4-6 month project)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile AR data to ensure accuracy
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, and customer accounts
• Analyze large datasets to validate transactions and ensure proper system migration
• Assist with data cleanup and reclassification in the new system
• Generate and validate aging reports, cash applications, and outstanding balances
• Work with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot and streamline AR processes
• Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciling AR accounts
• Assist in audit requests by compiling and verifying transaction data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3 years of AR experience
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong data analysis skills and experience working with large data sets
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Cleansing)
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
