TITLE: Promotional Items Specialist
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA
Summary of Position:
Vivid Ink is a printing and graphics company that produces signs, prints, labels, corporate apparel and promotional items. We are also a distributor of custom-branded promotional products. This position handles the estimating and procurement of all promotional items for our Local Sales Team's clients.
Training:
Guided sales training will be provided on the job.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with sales teams to promote & sell custom branded promotional products
- Assist clients and prospects in choosing the right items for their event, project or specific need
- Suggest products and prepare presentations/proposals/quotes based on clients/prospects specifications
- Interact with outside vendors for pricing, specifications and mockups via email & phone
- Use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to produce mockups in-house
- Accurately enter and send purchase orders and artwork for items
- Attend local tradeshows for the promotional products industry
- Meet with promotional products sales representatives who visit our location
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone or email regarding apparel and promotional products.
- Assist sales teams with product selection, customization options, pricing inquiries, and order processing
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide proactive communication to sales teams regarding order status, shipping updates, and any potential delays
- Collaborate with the sales and internal production teams to address customer needs and ensure a seamless experience
- Attend sales meetings & trainings
- Attend vendor meetings
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
- 2 Years of experience in a professional environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Manage workload & prioritize tasks
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Graphic Design experience preferred
