We’re excited to welcome a Full-Time Landscape Design Assistant to our team in Stow, OH! In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in projects from design to construction. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in landscape design and construction. What you’ll be doing :
Collaborate with sales and project managers to support all project stages efficiently and effectively.
Create accurate base plans by identifying existing site elements (i.e. residence, walls, walkways, driveways, trees, etc.) and defining property lines, setbacks, and utilities
Assist in developing design and sales presentations for both residential and commercial projects.
Gather and compile precise information for project estimates, supporting sales and project managers in the process.
Produce detailed construction drawings, including hardscape layouts, planting plans, and irrigation designs, for seamless hand-off to production.
Engage actively in learning and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
What you need to succeed :
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or similar required
1-3 years of experience preferred but will consider recent college graduates
Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD preferred
Able to translate comments, redlines, and sketches into working drawings / documents
Skillful with presentations utilizing Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, and hand rendering
Tech-savvy; including expertise with Microsoft Office
Skilled in managing a high volume of tasks and enjoy meeting deadlines
Skillful with construction drawings including construction detailing, dimensioned layouts and grading plans
