Job Description:
Looking for an experienced housekeeper who can perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
Reports to: Hotel Manager. Or Housekeeping Manager
LABORABLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain full knowledge and comply with all department policies / procedures / service standards.
2. Maintain full knowledge of the correct maintenance and use of equipment cleaning products. Use the equipment only as intended.
3. Anticipate the needs of guests respond promptly and recognize all guests, regardless of whether they are busy and at any time of the day.
4. Maintain positive relationships with guests and co-workers at all times.
5. Familiarize yourself with all the services / features of the hotel and the local attractions / activities.
6. Supervise and maintain the cleaning, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
7. Use the correct cleaning chemicals for the designated surfaces, in accordance with and hotel requirements.
8. Clean rooms by category priority.
9. Transport the cart with cleaning supplies, toiletries, and bedding to the assigned guest room and place it in a secure position.
10. Guest room service assigned.
11. Remove all dirty towels and replace them with a clean pair to the designated design.
12. Remove dirt, dirt, soap and hair from mirrors in bathroom, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor.
13. Replace facial, toilet paper, and bathroom accessories in the correct number and location.
14. Replace dirty bed sheets with clean sheets
15. Replace clothing bags and slips.
16. Clean cabinets and door rails in the exit rooms, removing dust and debris. Ensure the correct amount and placement of the hangers, extra blanket / pillow and luggage rack.
17. Remove dust and polish all furniture.
18. Realign the furniture to the plane.
19. Open all drawers / doors of the rooms for check-out and bring the items left by the guest to the administration. Clean dust inside the drawers.
20. Check under the bed (s), chairs and sofa for waste and remove them if present.
21. Inspect the condition of all furniture for scratches, or spots; Report any damage to the supervisor.
22. Remove all dust, debris and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including cracks and under cushions.
23. Dust of frames, frames and mirrors.
24. Remove dust and debris from the television, radio clock, remote control, and other electronics.
25. Set the correct time on the clock; correct television channel.
26. Clean all lamps and light switches; verify that it works correctly
27. Remove dust, stains and stains from windows, shelves and frames.
28. Remove dust, grease and stains from the phones and replace them correctly.
29. Empty the liquid from the ice tray and dry all surfaces.
30. Remove dust from the curtains weekly and re-align to correct the position daily.
31. Inspect the condition of services on the desk, drawer and service directory for guests; Replace the designated quantities in the appropriate places within the room.
32. Clean inside and out of the refrigerator and throw away whatever is left behind from guest.
33. Require certain physical abilities including but not limited to:
- lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 35 lbs
- stand for long periods of time
- kneel, bend and crawl
- squat and crouch
- work in confined spaces
- tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
34. Perform other tasks requested by the manager.

Qualifications
-Experience in housekeeping in a hotel for at least 2 or more years
-Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
-Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
-Customer-oriented and friendly
-Prioritization and time management skills
-Working quickly without compromising quality
-Knowledge of English language
-High school degree
