Responsibilities:
- Manage the Human Resource function for a growing manufacturing plant
- Labor Relations- Be the go-to expert on all labor relations matters, from day-to-day contract interpretation to high-stakes negotiations. Lead bargaining efforts with preparation, foresight, and a calm, tactical approach Manage grievances and disputes with an emphasis on resolution and relationship-building
- Employee Relations & Culture- Help build a workplace people want to be part of—fair, transparent, and engaging. Coach leaders on conflict resolution, discipline, and communication
- HR Operations & Compliance- Develop and enforce policies that are legally sound and aligned with company values. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and collective bargaining agreements
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing to onboarding. Collaborate with department leads to forecast and fulfill staffing needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 5-10 years of HR experience
- Labor relations experience is preferred
- Proven success in contract negotiations, union partnerships, and grievance management
- Clear understanding of employment law and best practices in both union and non-union settings
- Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) is preferred
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
