Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team at Volante Senior Living. As a key advisor to leadership, you'll leverage data-driven insights to optimize both quality and cost, ensuring the best alignment with our operational objectives.

What you'll be doing:

• Work closely with the VP of Administration & Programming to design and execute a forward-thinking procurement strategy that aligns with company goals and drives operational success.
• Oversee and optimize the procurement system, ensuring smooth functionalities for all users. Provide training, manage reporting, and streamline core product offerings to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide data-backed recommendations to leadership, identifying opportunities to optimize quality and cost for the most effective operational outcomes.
• Management of order guides for national vendors. Partner with our contracted Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) to optimize vendor relations and maximize procurement efficiencies.
• Work alongside the VP of Administration & Programming on RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
• Lead and execute annual cost-saving projects across assigned categories, driving measurable improvements in both efficiency and expense reduction.
• Extract actionable insights from reporting systems to track category spend and performance. Utilize this data to uncover opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

What you'll bring to the table:

• BS/BA degree, or equivalent combination and related work experience.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business is a plus.
• High degree of communication, cooperation, and coordination with Volante community and Support Center associates, and with current and potential vendor contracts.
• 5 years working in a procurement function.
• 1 year negotiating contracts.
