What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Volks Resources?
· Cost Control & Analysis: Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs to identify variances and trends; Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste.
· Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet and ensure all financial records comply with accounting standards and company policies, including intercompany transactions.
· Business Performance Analysis: Evaluate financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making; Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business goals.
· Journal Entries & General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
· Financial Reporting & Support: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management; Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
· Process Improvement & Systems Expertise: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement improvements.
· 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role
· Strong Microsoft EXCEL skills (capability to manipulate large volume of data);
· Experience with SAP (Preferred)
· Experience in developing Power BI will be a differential.
· English language skill(s) and proficiency.
· Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
