POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day foodservice operations of the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Leads and manages a team of employees. Responsible for managing customer relationships along with ensuring that the food offered to the residents is of superior quality.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. College degree in Hospitality-related field is preferred.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of food service experience required.
- CCRC dining experience required. Resort and/or country club experience a plus.
- Multi point of service experience a plus to manage retail, event and dining room service.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Maintains excellent relationships with the residents, resident family members, guests, peers and management.
- Works with the Chef and Director of Dining Services in suggesting nutritious and top-quality food for residents and guests.
- Implements and maintains new culinary and service programs in conjunction with the culinary team.
- Trains and maintains a high standard for dining room and other food service venues.
- Manages with a “can do” attitude adhering to our service vision of “Exceptional Care. World Class Hospitality” and to our Core Standards of C.A.R.E. (Courtesy, Attention to Detail, Responsiveness and Enthusiasm).
- Maintains visibility during mealtimes by seating and greeting residents, addresses any concerns, and ensures that their needs have been met.
- Responds to and resolves any resident or guest complaints regarding their experience in the dining room.
- Schedules and assigns tasks to the servers, including assigning of tables and side and closing duties.
