What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Customer Service Representative position at Von Paris Moving and Storage?
Von Paris Moving & Storage is seeking to hire an International Customer Service Representative to assist with the coordination of moving household goods and personal effects around the world.
Duties:
- General Customer Service duties required to coordinate International Moves from start to finish.
- Communicate with all relevant parties with up to date information
- File ISF, Customs, and all other necessary paperwork to facilitate International Moves
- Working knowledge of Customs process and export/import regulations
- Liaison with Operations Department with accurate tracking of all shipments to include both imports and exports.
- Collect prepayments or COD amounts from customer or account.
- Create folders for new orders to ensure proper file tracking.
- Generate drivers’ paperwork daily.

- Outstanding organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
- Must maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Must be able to pass a background test and drug screen
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of customer service experience in an office environment required
- 1 year of international coordinating experience preferred, but not required
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

New hires are subject to a 90-day probationary period.
