Voortman Steel Machinery manufactures the most advanced automated steel processing technology available. We’re a rapidly growing Company, and we’re looking for a new and business-critical team member for our North American subsidiary, Voortman USA LLC.
As a Team Leader for the Service Department you’ll be responsible for staff management and development.
You'll be expected to:
- Lead and Supervise: Engage and motivate staff with daily supervision on operational tasks; holds end responsibility for scheduling
- Oversee Employee Development: Set out career progression for each team member and manages the annual performance review process
- Collaborate: Work with global peers on capacity, department improvements, and training opportunities
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service related to reporting, quotes, training sessions, escalations, and technical documentation
- Process and Performance Management: Create and monitor KPIs, identify process improvements, and manages departmental budget
- Human Resources Collaboration: Work with HR on performance management, employee relations, hiring, and onboarding
