Team Leader for the Service Department

What are you going to do?

Voortman Steel Machinery manufactures the most advanced automated steel processing technology available. We’re a rapidly growing Company, and we’re looking for a new and business-critical team member for our North American subsidiary, Voortman USA LLC.

You'll Be Expected To

• Lead and Supervise: Engage and motivate staff with daily supervision on operational tasks; holds end responsibility for scheduling
• Oversee Employee Development: Set out career progression for each team member and manages the annual performance review process
• Collaborate: Work with global peers on capacity, department improvements, and training opportunities Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service related to reporting, quotes, training sessions, escalations, and technical documentation
• Process and Performance Management: Create and monitor KPIs, identify process improvements, and manages departmental budget
• Human Resources Collaboration: Work with HR on performance management, employee relations, hiring, and onboarding

We ask

• Thee years of professional experience creating team goals
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field
