A Brief Overview
The Accounts Payable Coordinator processes invoices and ensures timely payments to vendors. The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies, as well as preparing financial reports related to accounts payable
What You Will Do
- Process high volume PO and NON-PO invoices. Ensure invoices are coded according to GL.
- Review and reconcile all invoice discrepancies.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve issues and reconcile statements.
- Complete Month End duties accurately and timely.
- Other duties may vary slightly by location.
- High School Diploma with relevant experience (Required) or
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience (Preferred)
- 1-3 years In general accounting or AP, manufacturing a plus (Preferred)
- 1-3 years Experience with AP Imaging and Workflow paperless environment a plus (Preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (including professional telephone skills) (High proficiency)
- Proven multi-tasking skills with attention to detail. (High proficiency)
- Exceptional analytical ability for problem solving. (High proficiency)
- Possess a professional demeanor (High proficiency)
- Capacity to work effectively both individually and with a team. (High proficiency)
- Must be proactive and goal driven to meet deadlines. (High proficiency)
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime if necessary. (High proficiency)
- Positive attitude towards customers and co-workers. (High proficiency)
- Must possess accurate typing and math skills. (Medium proficiency)
- Ability to work in large ERP system – Epicor and JD Edwards a plus (Medium proficiency)
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills (Low proficiency)
