We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Social Media and Community Manager to lead the organic growth of one of the fastest growing Animanga platforms within the US and deepen engagement of our online communities. We have an ambitious goal to grow to build the largest community of anime & manga lovers, featuring exciting new content and technology that the community will love.

This role requires a deep understanding of the online anime and manga fandom, expertise in managing the full user acquisition funnel—from awareness to conversion to engagement—and proficiency across major social and community platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and Reddit. You will be responsible for crafting the content strategy to attract this audience, building the funnel to bring them into our communities, and driving engagement within the largest Animanga Hub. You’ll be the voice of Voyce.Me, fostering a vibrant, fan-driven environment of anime lovers.

What you'll be doing

• Own and execute the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Reddit, and other platforms, ensuring a well-planned content calendar while capitalizing on trending topics relevant to our brand.
• Grow and engage our online communities by fostering a fan-centric tone that resonates with anime and manga enthusiasts, actively participating in discussions, and driving meaningful interactions.
• Leverage innovative technology to scale and engage communities in ways that stand out within the anime space, introducing new ways for users to interact, discover content updates, and participate in real-time experiences.
• Develop and execute influencer and partnership strategies to expand our reach, collaborating with anime and manga influencers to drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Organize and execute groundbreaking community growth initiatives, including contests, viral campaigns, real-time manga creation sessions, live art events, and user-generated content challenges—introducing engagement methods that the anime space hasn’t seen before.
• Experiment with and refine content formats such as videos, static posts, interactive content, and social media-driven viral campaigns to innovate and maximize engagement.
• Monitor community health, proactively responding to feedback, managing escalations, and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment.
• Analyze engagement metrics to track growth, measure the success of campaigns, and refine strategies for increased retention and conversion.
• Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and trends, continuously optimizing content and engagement strategies to maintain visibility and growth.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to integrate community insights into content strategy, platform features, and user experience improvements.

What we're looking for

• 3 years of experience managing Discord and other online communities as moderator.
• Experience as a content creator or worked in social media teams for brands that can generate millions of views.
• Passionate consumer of anime, manhwa, and manga, deeply immersed in fan culture.
• Strong knowledge of forums, blogs, and social spaces where anime, manga and manhwa fans gather.
• Passion and enthusiasm around using innovative technology to deepen user experience & engament
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to community needs.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Japanese or Korean.
