Bed Bug Exterminator

• Are able to lift 100lbs, in short spurts. The equipment we use has wheels, but must be lifted to and from the vehicle and sometimes up stairs.
• Are able to withstand short 30 second to 1 minute bursts of 150°F temperature—As the job is done by heating homes, and various things will need to be checked up on periodically.
• Want to be a part of helping restore peace in people's lives.

Responsibilities:

• Professionally and sociably communicate via text, voice call and email with customers and co-workers
• Stick to your assigned schedule and follow through to complete Bed Bug Treatments
• Utilize the scheduling software to understand your daily schedule
• Communicate effectively between clients and sales/executive team
• Reconcile your schedule daily with the area manager with a daily check-in
• Understand bed bug tendencies
• Be able to adequately explain and simplify bed bug tendencies with clients
• Understand the operation of all equipment needed to complete bed bug treatments
• Address client concerns as they arise
• Maintain a positive and helpful approach with clients and co-workers at all times
• Commitment to mastering the craft through Daily Reflection/Heating Trainings and Independent Research
• Successfully perform our “one time treatments” with minimal retreatments. Be thorough and effective
• React quickly during scheduled hours to respond to a same-day appointment

We conduct an extensive training before you begin, so if there are any concerns you have about the hard skills (Knowledge of the job), as long as you have the soft skills (Being Teachable, Trustworthy, and Reliable), everything will be great.

Compensation:

• $2,500/month Training Salary to start—higher starting salary is available if you have licenses or a relevant college Degree in Human Science/Biology
• Opportunities for growth in working with other technicians in the field.
• 1 week Paid Time Off (PTO) after a year of working. If you need off for a reasonable amount of time, Just communicate beforehand.
