What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dynamics 365 Technical Lead position at VRK IT Vision Inc.?
- Dynamics 365 Expertise:
- Provide expert-level knowledge and experience in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, particularly with the Field Service and Customer Service modules.
- Lead customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage of Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Solution Development:
- Assist in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Design and develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and C#.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot and remediate technical issues within Dynamics 365; document solutions and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.
- Provide strong knowledge of Microsoft’s licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Governance and Best Practices:
- Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at VDOT.
- Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.
- Liaison and Consultation:
- Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution.
- Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs.
- Process Improvement:
- Contribute to improving processes and policies within the program.
- Review and refine existing procedures to better align with agency/group priorities.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator).
- Participate in on-call duties as necessary.
- Be available to support after-hours work as needed.
