Position Title: Business Development Manager/Account Manager (Software Services)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager/Account manager for our Digital and Analytics division, specifically in Software Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as the primary contact for software services in the digital and analytics space.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions, including data analytics, AI-driven software, machine learning, and digital transformation strategies.
- Manage client expectations, proactively resolve issues, and ensure transparent communication regarding project progress, timelines, and outcomes.
Business Development and Sales:
- Function as a sales hunter to pursue and secure new business opportunities in the software services sector, targeting clients who require customized digital solutions.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare and present compelling proposals, aligning software services with client needs and industry best practices.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand service offerings within existing client accounts, driving revenue growth.
Software Solution Delivery:
- Apply your technical expertise in software development, data analytics, and AI technologies to create innovative, tailored software solutions that meet client specifications.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that software solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Work with internal teams to develop high-quality software solutions that are scalable, robust, and meet client requirements.
Account Management & Project Oversight:
- Oversee the successful delivery of software services, ensuring client satisfaction and the achievement of project goals.
- Manage budgets, track milestones, and ensure high-quality standards for deliverables across software projects.
- Continuously monitor account performance and recommend enhancements to optimize outcomes and drive long-term client relationships.
Collaboration and Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including software developers, data scientists, and engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to implement strategic initiatives aimed at increasing business opportunities and expanding market presence.
- Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to enhance service offerings and software capabilities.
Market Insights and Industry Trends:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new digital technologies, particularly in the software services and analytics sectors, to provide clients with the most effective and innovative solutions.
- Identify emerging technologies and software solutions that can provide value to clients, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 6 years of direct sales experience in software services, with a proven track record in sales hunting and managing client accounts in OEM or technology consulting environments.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, managing key accounts, and delivering complex software solutions in the digital transformation and analytics space.
- Experience in identifying new opportunities and expanding revenue streams through upselling and cross-selling of software services.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development and digital technologies, including data analytics, machine learning, AI, and business intelligence solutions.
- Proficiency in software development tools and platforms such as Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, Tableau, Power BI, and related analytics tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, data management platforms, and enterprise software architecture.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field; a Master s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Additional certifications or training in data analytics, business intelligence, digital project management, or software development are beneficial.
