Requirements
7 years of experience in data engineering or a related role with exposure to project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure data solutions using Azure data services (Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Databricks)
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including Azure Active Directory, network security groups, and encryption services
Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a process-oriented mindset
Proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines in high-priority situations
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage conflict effectively
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities with adaptability and openness to feedback
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Commitment to ongoing professional training (minimum of 40 hours annually, including 10 hours specific to this role)
Nice to Have
ITIL v3 or v4 certification
Familiarity with utility industry practices and standards
Experience with statistical analysis or BI tools for data visualization
Advanced knowledge of building custom metrics and calculations
Experience in customer journey analytics

- Apply cloud security best practices to ensure data compliance and protection
- Build and maintain dashboards and custom reports for ongoing analysis and insights

- Guide teams on analytics best practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy across implementations
