What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Success Advising Center: Welcome Desk Staff-Student Employment (Workstudy Eligibility Prefered) position at VTSU?
This position is located inside the Student Financial Specialists office (formally known as Financial and Registration Services) on the lower level of Woodruff Hall. Students will greet people coming into the space, direct people to the appropriate offices, support staff members with projects, and help support students looking to fill out online forms and navigate the Portal for things like the Student Insurance Waiver. Customer service is key in this role and a person who is friendly and willing to jump in and help anyone. Good GPA. Customer service experience. Ability to successfully navigate the VSC Portal and Canvas. Attention to details. Willingness to work during the busy times including mornings and lunch.
