Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Executive with deep expertise in the YouTube advertising ecosystem to drive strategic partnerships that enhance VuePlanner’s market position. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new partnerships while managing the full lifecycle from initial outreach to contract execution and implementation. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure these partnerships drive value for both VuePlanner and its clients. Additionally, they will help communicate the impact of new alliances internally and externally, including supporting marketing efforts for press releases and thought leadership content.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and secure high-value partnerships across key areas:

- Product Partnerships – Collaborate with tech providers to enhance VuePlanner’s technology and service offerings.
- Vendor Partnerships – Engage with measurement providers and third-party verification partners that complement VuePlanner’s offerings.
- Commercial Partnerships – Identify and engage agencies and companies seeking YouTube-managed services. Develop and maintain strong relationships to align with YouTube's evolving advertising solutions.
- End-to-End Partner Management: Lead partnership development from identification and evaluation of strategic fit through contract negotiation and implementation.
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Enablement: Work with internal teams to articulate the value of new partnerships, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Thought Leadership & Communication: Collaborate with marketing to craft press releases, case studies, and thought leadership content that showcase partnership success stories.
- Revenue & Growth Contribution: Identify and drive revenue opportunities through strategic alliances that expand VuePlanner’s reach and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years in business development, partnerships, or sales within AdTech, MarTech, or digital media, with a strong focus on YouTube advertising.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of YouTube media buying contextual targeting, ad measurement, and verification.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships across agencies, tech vendors, and Google/YouTube teams.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Strong experience in contract negotiation, deal structuring, and business case development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to align partnerships with internal teams across marketing, sales, and product development.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting press releases and presenting to stakeholders.
