VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Sales Operations Manager for our Devens, MA, location.
Job Purpose
The Sales Operations Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing and supporting the sales process by providing strategic insights, improving sales productivity, and streamlining operational workflows. This individual will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness in achieving business goals. While this role does not include direct reports, the Sales Operations Manager will act as a key influencer and partner across teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the sales operations function, ensuring seamless execution of sales processes and strategies.
- Work closely with commercial teams while partnering with finance to provide part pricing for tactical customers and pricing programs for strategic customers.
- Manage and enhance CRM data integrity, providing analytics and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain advanced sales performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales targets.
- Optimize, automate, and implement scalable sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation, qualification processes, and sales enablement strategies.
- Support sales planning and quota setting for the sales team, ensuring balanced workloads and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate and manage sales enablement tools, providing recommendations for enhancements and new technology adoption.
- Partner with finance to establish pricing guidelines, ensure accurate tracking of revenue, commissions, and sales compensation plans.
- Partner with operations, program management and quality to establish new customers and parts within VF system.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to sales team members on sales processes and tools.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance overall sales operations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or a related role within a technology company.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and sales reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Proven experience in managing sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Understanding of pricing models, revenue recognition principles, and sales compensation structures.
