RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of the Tax Senior Accountant include, but are not limited to:
AccountabilityPrepare complex tax filings for corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and individuals.
Conduct tax research for individual transactions and during tax preparation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Serve as a trusted resource for Tax Staff on specific tax issues and questions.
Prepare income tax projections and quarterly estimated tax calculations.
Assist in preparing tax provision and tax accrual work papers.
Gather and organize client information necessary for filing.
Apply working knowledge of tax law during the preparation of various tax forms.
Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of differences between Tax and GAAP regulations (e.g., income recognition and expense deductibility).
Demonstrate and embody our core values.
Act as a client contact for general questions and information requests.
Share experience and knowledge to train and develop other staff.
Use resources efficiently and effectively, managing time appropriately.
Motivate and share skills with new employees.
CPA, CPA candidate, or IRS Enrolled Agent (EA).
2 years in a public accounting firm.
3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Location: This is a hybrid position headquartered in Bridgeville, PA. Local candidates only.
Salary : $78,200 - $100,200
