Key Responsibilities
- Perform cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
- Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for accounting functions.
- Prepare weekly financial reports for the Leadership Team.
- Maintain the general ledger and code invoices.
- Review and analyze actual costs to identify inaccuracies.
- Reconcile bank accounts and customer accounts.
- Manage accounts receivable collections and verify deposits.
- Assist with audits as needed.
- Prepare and submit invoices timely through WAWF and email.
- Process bi-weekly payroll.
- Act as a subject matter expert and assist with training on ERP systems.
- Assist with annual Incurred Cost Submission to DCAA.
- Collaborate with the Contract Manager to close-out contracts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (Required).
- 3 years of accounting experience (Required).
- QuickBooks and Unanet/Deltek knowledge.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of WAWF (Wide Area Workflow) for invoice submission.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must maintain Security Clearance eligibility.
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.
