Marine Technician

Location: Rockford, MI 49341

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Technician to join our team in Rockford, MI. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of marine vessels. This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on marine engines, systems, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on various marine vessels.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, propellers, electrical systems, and fuel systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs and installations.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of marine engines and systems.
• Experience in assembling and disassembling marine components.
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and installations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must have own tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in marine mechanics is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  
  

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
