CARPENTER / SET BUILDER, Port Washington, NY (Nassau County 11050)

Temporary, Monday through Friday 8-5. Estimated through December.
Reliable transportation to Port Washington is required.

Requirements: Must have interior construction/carpentry experience.
Experience with power tools.
Reliable.
Proven experience in a fast paced environment.
Ability and willingness to climb a ladder and lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Description:
- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood, screws, nails, dowel pins or glue.
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Builds or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines.
- Install interior trim and finishes including drywall, cabinets, flooring and window/door trim.
- Attention to detail. Always being alert to ensure safety.
- Clean and keep work area organized.
- All Tools and Materials will be provided.
The expected hourly rate is 20.00-24.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based upon experience and other factors allowed by law.
Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm
Salary : $20 - $24
