Waelzholz North America, located in Cleveland, Ohio, serves customers in the entire North American market. Here, we manufacture and ship over 25,000 tons of steel strip each year. Our team makes sure that our customers receive the best Waelzholz quality and customized service.
The Logistics Coordinator position and related operations include the following but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Arrange transportation services for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Create and maintain travel cards to track product movement within the facility
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners
- Support and coordinate external warehouse management
Operational Tasks:
- Daily: plan all trade business sales orders, print travel cards, transport cards and hand them over to the warehouse employees
- Daily: prepare shipping documents including shipping Bills of Lading, delivery notices, and invoices
- Daily: arrange shipments, small and full loads with respect to the right equipment (Conestoga, Dry van, flatbed…). Issue correct freight information and arrange shipments pickup through phone calls or emails
- Enter Inventory data into ERP System: import and store all loading information data in our NAVISION system and manually post all invoices received through EDI
- Create the test certificates with respect to the size, the chemistry etc. for each cold rolled steel coil prior shipping
