Role: Lead Pega Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Technical Design/Development and Code Reviews
- Responsible for architecture liaison, design and development of business applications using PRPC V8.x.
- Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices defined by the team/organization/industry.
- Has an advanced understanding of PEGA PRPC V8.x tools and leads development activities in an Agile-SCRUM based work environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into design/application builds and guide the development teams
- Performance tuning.
- Drives delivery of assigned tasks on schedule without compromising the quality.
- Leads and coordinates with cross teams in the project and promotes the use of best practices and tools.
- Build reusable Components and frameworks
- Enterprise Architecture Liaison
- Establishing coding/Design best practices & guidelines
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills
- 8 years of overall IT experience with 4 years in a technical leadership role.
- 6 years in design and hands-on development experience in Pega PRPC.
- Pega CSSA / LSA certification is required. Pega V8.x experience is preferred.
- Should have hands on experience in developing PRPC / BPM applications.
- Good understanding and experience with integration tools and technologies such as BPM, Java, and Web services, ESB, JMS, XML, ETL in a J2EE environment. Java/J2EE certification is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps (CI/CD/CT), Micro Services, AWS cloud based development with right agile mindset is required
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Advanced Oracle/SQL knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills needed.
