Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Patient Financial Representative for a healthcare client located in Irving, TX. This is a contract opportunity.
START DATE: ASAP

JOB SUMMARY
- Back up for business office functions
- Provides work coverage for the various operational work units in the organization (This includes billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, assembly, copying, faxing, and data entry functions)
- This position provides training to Associates on company processes as required by the Manager to support new and existing Associates.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge in claims and collections
- Needs to know CPT, HCPS, and ICD 10
- Previous Insurance Company claims experience and/or health care billing trade school education may be considered in lieu of formal hospital experience
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working within a multi-facility hospital business office environment
- 3-5 years of experience as a Patient Financial Rep
- Experience working with inpatient and outpatient billing requirements of UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms
