General Job Description / Summary
The HR Generalist will handle the daily administrative and HR duties of the organization. They will assist managers with recruitment, record maintenance, and employees’ relations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Partners with hiring manager to manage all aspects of the hiring process from job posting, working with recruiters, sourcing, job fairs to onboarding
- Processes all onboardings and terminations
- Be the point of contact for employees with questions on, employee relations, PTO, benefits, payroll, FSA, life updates, etc.
- Ensures open positions are tracked, approved, and advertised accordingly
- Assists in weekly payroll functions
- Responsible for managing, updating, and monitoring HR data, systems, and reports
- Drives employee engagement and employee survey efforts
- Assist in the development of company policy related to critical issues and concerns
- Supports employees and managers with the performance management system and other performance related concerns (corrective action/counseling)
- Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
- Maintains and updates data base of job descriptions
- Assists in monitoring changes in employment practices laws and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulation
- Actively participates in human resources administrative meetings and in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management or related field.
Work Experience: 2 years of administrative work or office management experience and 1 year in Human Resources.
Experience with ADP is a plus
Pay:
$60,000-$75,000
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
