We are searching for a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive, well-rounded individual to handle a wide array of HR functions. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in creating and fostering a positive, productive workplace by implementing policies, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure the company’s HR practices are aligned with industry standards and local regulations.
- Administer employee records, benefits, and HRIS systems to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all HR documents are up-to-date and meet legal and company standards.
- Facilitate annual compliance training, certifications, and regulatory updates for employees.
- Serve as a key contact for employees regarding questions about policies, procedures, and general HR support.
- Resolve employee concerns and manage conflicts while maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide guidance and counsel to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall morale.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to finalizing offers and onboarding.
- Conduct interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure cultural fit and required skill sets.
- Manage pre-employment background checks, drug testing, and reference verifications.
- Support managers in driving performance management processes, including appraisals, coaching, and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain employee development programs and assist in the planning and execution of training.
- Monitor training needs, track employee progress, and recommend development initiatives.
- Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Assist in salary review processes and analyze compensation trends to ensure market competitiveness.
- Manage leave programs such as FMLA, vacation, sick time, and disability benefits.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety laws and regulations.
- Coordinate wellness programs and encourage a culture of well-being.
- Act as a point of contact for worker’s compensation claims and resolve related issues efficiently.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and best HR practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with HR software, MS Office Suite, and knowledge of HRIS systems.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications.
- Experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS management tools.
