Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, as well as familiarity with FDA regulations. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and tests to verify product integrity and adherence to specifications.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality management protocols.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes, including the use of vision inspection systems and Calypso software for data analysis.
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing product quality.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Experience with quality audits and implementing quality control measures.
- Knowledge of vision inspection systems and software like Calypso is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to report findings clearly and concisely.
