A brief job description is as follows but not limited to:
1. Content Creation – Facilitate the creation and scheduling of content for multiple brands across multiple social media platforms. Brands included: Walnut Creek Foods, Walnut Creek Cheese & Market, Uncle Mike’s Meat Snacks, Mudd Valley, and others as assigned.
2. Email Marketing – Help to set and execute the company’s email marketing campaign strategy.
3. Website Strategy – Work with members of Marketing and Retail team to promote online sales through our retail website (walnutcreekcheese.com), and assist with updating and recommending content for our suite of websites (walnutcreekfoods.com, walnutcreekcheese.com, unclemikesmeatsnacks.com, muddvalley.com, yodersfinefoods.com)
4. Continuous Learning – Stay updated with latest trends and platforms to ensure our digital strategy is reaching the desired audience. Make recommendations to leadership for desired adjustments to platforms being utilized.
5. Special Projects - Assist the team with certain projects and initiatives as assigned.
Other job duties may be requested and required. Evaluations take place on a yearly basis. Keys to this position include understanding; customer service, safety, and quality come first.
Job Requirements
1) This is a full-time, year-round, in-person (non-remote) position
2) Previous experience managing social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) accounts for a business (1 years)
3) Ability to multitask and prioritize work
4) Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design) or Canva
5) Proficient with Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements
1) Job requires lifting (20 Pounds), bending, standing, walking, carrying, climbing, pulling, pushing, sitting
2) Travelling between business locations, sometimes outside normal office hours
