What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar position at Walnut Grove High School?
Overall Purpose
The job of Registrar is done for the purpose/s of registering students and maintaining computerized student records and files; providing student information to authorized parties in compliance with established policies; and providing general clerical support, information and direction as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Handles and inputs schedule changes throughout the year.
- Ensures state guidelines are met.
- Runs all necessary reports.
- Responsible for sorting and distributing progress reports and report cards.
- Inputs data related to discipline into database.
- Ensures discipline coding is correct for state reports at the central office level.
- Maintains the necessary data for balanced scorecard.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to10 pounds of force as needed to move objects. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
