As the face of Walpole Outdoors, the Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in continuing our mission of providing top-quality products to both residential and commercial clients. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing a pipeline of sales opportunities within Salesforce (CRM), ensuring accurate records, collaborating with team members, and reporting on sales strategies. Job Duties
- Understand Customer Needs: Educate and guide customers to find the right products and services that suit their needs.
- Become a Walpole Brand Expert: Use available resources and training programs to master product knowledge and sell comprehensive solutions.
- Self-Directed Learning: Take advantage of corporate training programs and workshops to stay updated and improve skills.
- Company-Wide Resource: Be known as a valuable source of information and assistance within the company.
- Quoting and Sales Execution: Responsible for quoting standard jobs and ensuring the sales are completed successfully.
- CRM Management: Enter and maintain accurate customer and sales information in the company’s CRM (Salesforce).
- Other Duties: Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support the overall sales function.
Requirements
- Previous Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in fence and related industries.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
- Self-Starter & Motivated: Ability to work independently, stay on task, and follow through on commitments.
- Multitasking & Deadline Management: Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Demeanor: Maintain a polished, professional attitude in all interactions with clients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and thorough in managing tasks and customer information and sales processes.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals and contribute to a supportive work environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel to manage customer information and sales activities.
- Experience Working with Consumers and Building Trade Professionals: Skilled in building relationships with both individual customers and trade professionals, understanding their unique needs.
- Ability to Read Drawings/Blueprints: Capable of interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to better assist with project planning and sales.
- Basic Math & Measurement Skills: Proficient in basic math and measurement to accurately assess client needs and provide appropriate product solutions.
