Walter Surface Technologies, a manufacturer of specialty products for the metalworking industry, is looking for a Channel Marketing Specialist to support its North American operations. In this role, you will act as leader, collaborator and executor of channel marketing initiatives - helping our customers work better and safer! Responsibilities:
Tradeshows & Events
- Leads all aspects of tradeshows - manages logistics, booth layouts, exhibitor assignments, materials planning, pre & post show communications and show leads tracking
- Leads marketing initiatives to promote events; includes creating show specials, promotional materials, and managing the event website to attract attendees.
- Ensures tradeshow leads are received and distributed to appropriate stakeholders quickly after each show; follows-up with sales and tracks through sf.com as needed.
Merchandising
- Leads the planning, coordinating and executes the placement of all merchandisers and displays. Ensures projects are receive & acknowledged with stakeholder in a timely manner.
- Provides expertise to stakeholders to develop product assortments that align with the company's overall strategy. Suggests selection of display offer based on distributor product mix preferences.
- Designs new displays and sources new materials as needs arises from the field.
Literature
- Supports, develops and/or updates sales enablement tools
- Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels and reordering as needed
Marketing Support
- Responsible for receiving and answering marketing support, sales requests, and distributor requests.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Responsible for the healthy management of the Literature, CAPEX & Tradeshow Budgets
- Delivers strong performance, tracks Key Performance Indicators and program ROI
Required Skills & Aptitudes
- Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliverables
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas and present
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite - Data Software Sigma and Salesforce is an asset
Experience and Education:
- University degree in Marketing or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B industrial experience in marketing and/or channel marketing
- Bilingual in French & English both verbal & written
- Occasional travel (less than 10%)
