JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is the administrator of an assigned project, responsible for managing multiple aspects of the jobs assigned. They coordinate all aspects of the job including personnel, safety, payroll changes and ensure all paperwork is in order. They communicate with the Operations Manager during all phases of a project. The Project Manager is accountable for the overall performance of assigned jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develop the Production Plan which requires knowing all aspects of a project.
- Must have a complete understanding of the perimeter edge and rise wall; detailing how they will function in the assembly and be knowledgeable of all roofing assemblies and systems.
- Establish proper protocols and procedures are met on all job-site: Safety, inspections, permitting, and local/state building code requirements.
- Understands and enforces the established safety plans and regulations.
- Develop an accurate material list. Order materials as needed for continuity of the project.
- Understands how to task jobs in multiple systems to ensure productivity is maintained.
- Monitor job cost, project goals while obtaining feedback from Superintendents and providing Operations Manager updates to ensure job comes in on budget and on time.
- Maintaining accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, production schedules and reports.
- Attend all meetings related to the job(s) and contribute to the agenda of the meeting.
- Projects a positive image for the organization, employees, customers and industry.
- Ensures quality pre-construction meetings are held for all projects.
- Constantly focus on improving Production Processes and Outcomes
- Provide regular progress updates.
- Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Proven experience in roofing management or similar construction management role
In depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and instillation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills – ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results
- Proficiency in project management software tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace.
- Must be very organized and detailed, and be able to multi task.
- Maintains a clean driving record to satisfy the company’s requirements of insurability.
- Solve issues / problems that arise within the scope of responsibility.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Certificate in previous field work in a leadership role required.
- Experience in Construction OSHA Safety Requirements.
- 3 year(s) required in Roofing / Construction.
- 3 year(s) required in leading people.
- 3 year(s) required in managing multifaceted projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,572.00 - $80,300.00 per year
