Warren Averett is seeking an experienced accountant for a large client in the Huntsville area. The ideal candidate will have more than five years of experience in accounting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and publish weekly and monthly financial reports and interactive dashboards.
- Perform, summarize, and distribute quantitative analysis of weekly reports.
- Assist in month-end accounting procedures and inventory management.
- Contribute to the creation of the annual business plan and forecast.
- Design and build analysis tools and new reporting as needed using MS Excel and data mining tools.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed by stakeholders throughout the market area.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
- Effective communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites, especially Excel.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
- Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload.
- Business analytics and data mining experience preferred.
