The Warren Washington CARE Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and advocacy for children affected by abuse and trauma. We seek a passionate and organized Outreach Development Coordinator to serve as an Assistant to the Director. This role involves a combination of administrative, outreach, and case management responsibilities aimed at enhancing the center's impact on the community. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to child advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forensic Interview Support: Train in child forensic interviews and assist during interviews by overseeing the recording, providing insights to the interviewer, and taking detailed notes. Complete intakes with families as needed and guide children through facility tours and interview room tours.
- Case Coordination: Track case data and coordinate communication between Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT ) members to ensure timely case management. Assist in the preparation of the agenda for monthly MDT meetings for both counties.
- Outreach and Community Engagement: Conduct tours of the center for community members and represent the center at public events. Engage in fundraising activities to support the center's mission.
- Grant and Contract Development: Research and help to secure funding opportunities to support center initiatives. Assist in developing grant proposals and contracts, ensuring thorough knowledge of the center's financials.
- Administrative Support: Answer phone calls, schedule interviews, and provide resources to community members. Organize and maintain files related to taxes, grants, payroll, and case documentation.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the center's social media presence, creating and posting content to raise awareness and engage the community.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour
