IT Infrastructure Support Technician
Location : Falls Church, Onsite Daily

Our Great Client is a $7 billion multi-employer defined benefit pension fund, located in Falls Church, VA. The Fund was started in 1966 and currently has over 140,000 participants receiving benefits and over 3,300 contributing employees. Our client has about 60 employees, and 35 of those employees are in the OPEIU union.
Our clients fund staff establish relationships with employers and local unions, manage collective bargaining agreements, collect employer contributions, and perform payroll audits. Pension staff also provide fund information and answer questions, determine eligibility, process retirement applications, calculate benefits, and pay monthly benefits to retirees and beneficiaries.
Position Overview :
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems, including desktops, servers, and network infrastructure
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and Group Policy
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and security patches across the network
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning for both workstations and servers
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Manage and maintain network resources including file shares, printers, and other peripherals
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Provide tier 1 and 2 technical support to end users via phone, email, and in person
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with IT policies
- Participate in technology planning and infrastructure improvements
