Law Clerk - Real Estate Practice (Boston Office)
Warshaw, DiCarlo & Poncia, a respected law firm specializing in real estate law, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented law student to join our Boston office as a Law Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for a current law student to gain hands-on experience in real estate law, with comprehensive training provided.
While prior experience in real estate law is preferred, it is not required. We will offer guidance and mentorship in a variety of areas, including:
- Reviewing and negotiating Purchase and Sale (P&S) agreements
- Drafting deeds, Powers of Attorney, and other title-related documents
- Ordering and analyzing title reports
- Conducting research in the Registry of Deeds
- Assisting with the recording of documents
- Establishing LLCs for real estate transactions
- Participating in closings and preparing related documentation
- Managing post-closing tasks and files, and other related legal duties
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in learning about real estate conveyancing law. A willingness to work occasional overtime as needed is also important.
This is a paid, hourly position, and we are particularly interested in students from Suffolk University due to the close proximity to our office on Newbury Street.
If you are interested or know of a suitable candidate, please email your resume and cover letter to: ndicarlo@warshawlaw.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
