We want you to join our dynamic and growing team as an Administrative Assistant where you will play a vital role in keeping our organization running smoothly. You will wear many hats in this multifaceted role - from financial wizard to master organizer to administrative extraordinaire.
Wasatch Forensic Nurses is a nonprofit mobile team of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners performing forensic exams for victims of rape, sexual assault and interpersonal violence at no charge to the victim. We serve 26 hospitals in Salt Lake, Utah, Summit and Wasatch counties.
We seek a candidate who has amazing organizational skills, is proficient with financial and money matters, and is an excellent communicator.
The Money Matters:
· Manage invoicing, payments, and bookkeeping like a pro using QuickBooks desktop
· Handle payroll with precision and efficiency
· With assistance, navigate the world of submitting grant proposals
The Organizational Genius:
· Maintain order with meticulous file management (electronic and paper)
· Provide seamless support and coordination of meetings, trainings, and interviews
· Manage equipment and supply inventories, ensuring nurses have what they need
The Communication Extraordinaire:
· Field calls, emails, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
· Respect confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
· HIPAA compliance is a must.
You will thrive in this role if you have a knack for juggling tasks, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional communication abilities. Prior administrative/office management experience is a must, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite, QuickBooks, and Google Drive. The ability to multitask and prioritize will be your superpowers.
· High School Diploma is required. Prior experience with business or accounting is preferred
or equivalency with experience.
· Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen
· Heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-4p a minimum 32 hours per week with the potential for up to 40 hours per week as needed. Position is in-office only. Remote work will not be considered.
Benefits: Benefit stipend percentage based on number of hours worked. Can be used towards any benefit you prefer (medical, dental, vision, retirement, etc.). Eight PTO days a year.
