Waschitz Pavloff CPA LLP is seeking an administrative assistant in our Monticello, New York office. We are a peer reviewed CPA firm, located in Sullivan and Orange counties.
Our varied client base includes professionals, agriculture, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, automotive, petroleum, not-for-profit entities, and local governments. We are a progressive firm that utilizes the most current technology, programs, and practices available to service the specific needs of our clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to staff and partners, including:
- Answering and directing phone calls and messages
- Greeting clients
- Scanning documents to our file management program
- Typing and proofreading letters and other documents, including Microsoft Word/Excel formatting
- Making daily trips to the post office; occasional other errands
- Various other projects and tasks
- Assist with preparing internal project reports during filing deadlines
- Assist with managing our client online portal system, including uploading firm prepared documents and downloading client data
- Assist with assembling, and collating tax returns in electronic and physical forms
Qualifications
- Prior CPA Firm experience preferred, but not necessary
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and general computer knowledge
- Ability to work overtime during peak times
- Possess the ability to handle multiple projects and work independently, as well as work with others within the firm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour
