What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT HR Specialist Assistant position at Washington County Government?
The Part Time HR Specialist Assistant must have knowledge of some human resources, payroll and accounting functions. Pay will be based on experience. Work involves the following:
- Assisting in creating, implementing, and evaluating human resources department policies, procedures, and the Personnel Policy.
- Accepting, reviewing, and referring employment applications to various departments. Assist with conducting interviews when possible.
- Organizing and maintaining personnel files; update information of employees
- Assist with compiling and completing a variety of records and reports.
- Provide assistance to Department Heads, Supervisors, employees, and others as needed.
- Assist with new hire orientation.
- Assist with processing payroll, entering changes in the accounting system, etc.
- Other HR duties as assigned or needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week

Experience:
- Human resources: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
