Reporting to the Director, Research Development, the Manager of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of a robust results-based monitoring, evaluation and learning culture across the School of Public Health’s Innovation Research Networks.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Works closely with IRN co-directors and researchers to provide demand-driven technical expertise in support of IRN research plans, proposals, theories of change, results frameworks and evaluations.
- Develops and implements strong monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess IRN performance and impact, ensuring alignment with the School of Public Health’s mission, vision and goals. Establishes a cycle of evaluation across the IRNs, and provides leadership for ongoing evaluations, including dissemination of lessons learned internally and externally.
- Provides training and technical support to IRN personnel and research partners on MEL tools, techniques, and best practices. Fosters a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Maintains accurate records of all MEL activities, data, and reports. Ensures data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepares comprehensive reports that present findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Communicates results to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- Three years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within an academic or non-profit research environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience conducting MEL activities, including collecting and reporting qualitative and quantitative monitoring data.

$65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.Questions
