Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the administration of the Pediatric Complex Care Clinic within the Division of Academic Pediatrics. The Pediatric Complex Care Clinic provides a medical home for children with complex health conditions from birth to adolescence, helping families coordinate both acute and chronic care with Washington University subspecialty providers, therapists and home care services.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Obtains and organizes new patient referral information. Coordinates weekly team meeting to evaluate new patient referrals based on intake criteria. Maintains waitlist and patient database.
  • Performs patient scheduling and registration. Monitors Epic In Basket for scheduling requests and patient cancellations from other departments.
  • Completes necessary patient paperwork such as prior authorizations, referrals, and school forms.
  • Provide backup coverage for additional division staff.
  • Other duties as identified by complex care team to support clinic needs.
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.

Salary Range

$21.17 - $32.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
