What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Waste Connections US, Inc?
Avenal Landfill, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our operation in Avenal, CA!
The schedule will be Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, plus ability to work every other Saturday 7am-12pm as needed (overtime hours)
The starting pay range is $20-24 / hour depending on experience. The pay range for this job category is $19-26 / hour. We also offer great family benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Operating Dozer, Excavator, Loader
- Pushing up piles of waste and debris, moving soil
- Responsible for equipment inspection
- Assisting customers and employees as needed
