What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Waste Connections US, Inc?
John Smith Landfill, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for a CDL Driver at our operation in Hollister, CA.
The primary duties of this job is operating : Excavator, Loader, Dozer, compactor. Class B CDL is preferred. We are looking for candidates with heavy equipment experience listed above.
The schedule will be 4 days per week, 10 hour days , plus some overtime. The schedule will include either a Saturday or Sunday.
The starting pay rate will be $30-40 / hour , depending on experience. We also offer great family benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Proficient in operating all yellow iron on site.
- Operating Dozer, Compactor, Excavator, ADT, Loaders, Backhoes, and Roll off Trucks
- Loading recycle materials in a hopper
- Pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble
- Responsible for equipment inspection
