What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Connections Fleet Mechanic position at Waste Connections?
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Entry-Level Mechanic to join our team at our Gassville, AR hauling site. As an Entry-Level Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks.
Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic and electrical systems, parts replacement, and minor engine repairs.
You will conduct routine preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, replace worn or damaged parts, and perform minor engine repairs.
In addition, you will ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations, and perform other tasks as required to support fleet operations.
